This week Adam & Mark open the show talking about Podcasting and how it is a somewhat unique business when it comes to competition. Then, they delve into Los Angeles’ Homeless Problem, and the idea of how the network you surround yourself with influences where you end up. Some people don’t like being around successful people because it shames them. Mark then tells Adam about a case he has where he and his client are suing the California State Bar for improperly firing one on their top employees. As the show wraps up the guys lament how quick people are to sue each other these days and how prevalent it has become even versus just a handful of years ago.

Adam opens the show discussing with Mark why his Paul Newman documentary (Winning: The Racing Life of Paul Newman) not getting into Sundance which leads to a discussion of the genesis of the perception that Adam is racist and homophobic. This leads Mark into telling a story about a racist attorney he had worked with in the past who, likely as a result of his racism, was a wunderkind when it came to jury selection. As the show wraps up, Mark and Adam examine the ethics case being brought against now retired LAPD Sgt. Jim Parker who was involved in questioning and ultimately arresting ‘Django Unchanied’ actress Daniele Watts.

The football talk leads Adam to share his favorite Deacon Jones clip with Mark which leads into a discussion about diversity. The conversation then turns to the recent French Terror Train hero who was even more recently stabbed outside of a Sacramento bar. As the show goes on the pair discuss Ben Carson and some of his more controversial views in recent days and weeks. As the show starts to wrap up, Adam and Mark get into some of the history of the famous O.J. Simpson trial.
